TradingView Opens AMP Futures Leap Contest With 90 CME Contracts
TradingView has opened registration for a new edition of The Leap, its paper-trading competition, sponsored by AMP Futures. The contest uses more than 90 CME Group futures contracts across equity indexes, energy, metals, crypto, currencies, financials, grains, soft commodities, and meats.
Registration is open through September 23, 2026, while the trading period runs from September 1 through September 30. Participants trade with a virtual balance, and rankings are based on realized profit and loss rather than open positions. TradingView said the top 300 participants can receive cash or subscription prizes, with the largest cash prizes allocated to the top five finishers.
TradingView also noted that AMP Futures users can connect AMP/CQG credentials to TradingView and trade real futures from Supercharts. That makes the contest both a promotional event and a practical bridge for futures traders evaluating the TradingView and AMP Futures workflow before using live capital.
Why it matters
For active futures traders, a broad contract list makes this more useful than a single-market contest. Participants can test cross-sector ideas, order-entry habits, and risk discipline in a setting that mirrors live futures symbols without putting account equity at risk.
The AMP Futures tie-in is also relevant for broker selection. Platform integration, available markets, and execution workflow are often just as important as headline commission rates.
What to watch next
Watch whether TradingView and AMP convert the contest into deeper onboarding for futures traders, especially around Supercharts order entry, CQG connectivity, and education for smaller futures accounts.
