Dukascopy Bank Launches AI-Powered Trading and Expands to 25,000+ Stock CFDs
Swiss-regulated Dukascopy Bank announced on September 7, 2026 the largest expansion of its digital offering to date, combining three product launches: AI-powered trade execution, over 25,000 new CFD instruments, and a rebuilt mobile banking app.
The AI integration uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to let clients connect AI assistants — including ChatGPT and Claude — directly to JForex trading accounts. Through natural language, traders can execute orders, manage positions, calculate risk, and monitor exposure without coding or traditional terminals. The feature is live now on demo accounts, with live account support planned soon.
On the instrument side, Dukascopy has added more than 25,000 CFDs on stocks and ETFs across 20 markets, with expansion to 87 markets planned. The new instruments are accessible through a dedicated JForex sub-account and integrate directly with the existing JForex4 Desktop environment.
The new Dukascopy Bank App replaces two legacy applications and consolidates banking, payments, cards, FX, and investments into a single mobile experience.
Why it matters
Dukascopy is one of the first Swiss-regulated banks to enable AI-assisted trade execution, which could set a precedent for how regulated brokers integrate large language models. The 25,000+ CFD expansion also pushes Dukascopy into direct competition with multi-asset giants like Interactive Brokers and Saxo on instrument breadth, while keeping the Swiss regulatory wrapper.
What to watch next
The key question is when live-account AI trading goes active. If Dukascopy proves a compliant model for AI-broker integration under FINMA oversight, expect other regulated platforms to follow. Watch also for how the 87-market stock CFD expansion rolls out.
