Michael came to platform analysis from a background in algorithmic trading, where the quality of execution infrastructure is the difference between a strategy that works in backtesting and one that works live. He holds official certifications from MetaQuotes and Spotware — the developers behind MT4/MT5 and cTrader — and has built and stress-tested dozens of automated systems across broker environments.

At The Broker Report, Michael runs every broker platform through a structured usability and reliability audit. He tests desktop and mobile clients in parallel, checks charting and alerting functionality against the claims in broker marketing, and documents any gaps between what a platform offers in demo and what traders encounter with a funded live account.
